Fiddle River is one of Jasper‘s top 10 restaurants according to TripAdvisor. Menu items and daily specials (posted on the chalkboard) feature artful, made-from-scratch dishes that use fresh seasonal ingredients such as BC fish, Alberta beef and game. The international wine list includes interesting Canadian vintages.

Atmosphere

The pine decor offers cozy Rocky Mountain ambience. Window-side tables and the garden patio deliver patrons superb mountain and historic train station views from the restaurant’s second floor location. Long-serving staff provide guests with a high level of service and sound advice on local attractions, trails and activities.

  • Braised Elk Stroganoff: caramelized onions, smoked paprika and cognac demi-glace; finished with dill pickles and chive sour cream
  • Cherry Bomb Lamb Rack: oven roasted full rack, sweet cherry, fresh mint glaze
