Evil Dave’s has a loyal following. Patrons appreciate the eclectic ‘evil’ themed menu: sinful starters, evil entrées, deadly desserts and magic elixirs. Owners Mike and Cyndi Day showcase a globally inspired, locally sourced menu, and chef Dale Nutt and his team, including Red Seal certified chefs, create ‘wicked food’. Generous offerings are flavourful and healthy, while the changing array of specials are prepared from seasonal ingredients. Gluten-free and vegetarian options demonstrate the kitchen’s culinary creativity.


Evil Dave‘s has an upbeat, contemporary interior featuring modern art, a stone-tiled fireplace, and comfortable leather seats.

  • Sinful Starters: Cowboy Sushi: grilled beef tenderloin roll; Luscious Lollipop Shrimp; AAA Tenderloin Bulgogi Beef on a Green Onion Cake
  • Beautiful Brie for Two: wheel of almond crusted Danish brie cheese, chilled pear puree with red currant sauce and balsamic reduction
  • Evil Diva: Tuscan greens, sliced red pepper, grated carrot, red onion and chickpeas with citrus vinaigrette dressing
  • Diabolical Tenderloin: AAA Alberta beef, mashed potatoes, pico de gallo, red wine garlic demi; add goat cheese or grilled jumbo shrimp
  • Malevolent Meatloaf: Alberta bison and wild boar bacon meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, fried mushrooms, gravy, fried potato curls
  • Fiendish Falafel: goat cheese stuffed falafel, green onion aioli, pita bread, rice
  • Malicious Salmon: blackened filet, curry aioli, jasmine rice, seasonal veggies
  • El Diablo: marinated chicken, chipotle sauce, corn, guacamole
  • Typhoon Noodles: stir fried vegetables with chicken thighs or jumbo prawns
  • Karma Curry: mildly spiced vegan korma sauce with chicken, served on a bed of jasmine rice and naan bread
  • Hell’s Chicken: thighs in a Caribbean-style marinade, fried sweet potato shards, sweet curry aioli, served over a bed of jasmine rice with vegetables
  • Deadly Desserts: Wicked Cheesecake; S’mores; Apple Cake; Star Gazer: Sortilège over vanilla ice cream
